BetterLifeApp.ai Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Manantia.AI, a division of Magnetherm Inc., Menifee, California ("BetterLifeApp.ai," "we," "us") for the BetterLifeApp.ai app at https://betterlifeapp.ai and everything it offers: the AI coach built on the teaching of Randal Smalls, The BetterLife Coach; courses and workbooks; mastermind and group rooms; text and email messages; and any paid membership, program or session. By creating an account, joining a room, or buying anything through the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Who can use the app
You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in link private: it signs in whoever holds it. Tell us at info@manantia.ai if you believe someone else has used your account.
2. What the coach is, and is not
The AI coach answers from Randal Smalls' own recorded teaching and shows its source. It is a coaching and encouragement tool. It is not a doctor, therapist, counselor, lawyer, pastor or financial advisor, and nothing it says is medical, mental-health, legal, tax or investment advice. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, U.S.) or your local emergency number now. Decisions you make are yours; the coach is a companion to your thinking, not a substitute for it.
3. Memberships, programs and payment
Prices. The price of a membership, program, course or session is the price shown at the moment you buy it, in U.S. dollars. Prices may change; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
Recurring memberships. A membership renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, as shown at purchase) and your saved payment method is charged at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing info@manantia.ai; cancellation stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not prorate a partial period.
One-time purchases. Courses, workbooks and individual sessions bought outright are charged once, at the price shown.
Refunds. If a paid membership or program is not what you expected, email info@manantia.ai within 7 days of your first charge for that item and we will refund it in full. After that window, and for renewals, charges are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise. A booked one-on-one session is refundable if you cancel at least 24 hours before it; a missed session is not.
Payment processing. Card payments are handled by a payment processor; we never see or store your full card number. By saving a payment method you authorize us and the processor to charge it for the purchases and renewals described here. Failed charges may suspend paid access until payment succeeds. Taxes are added where the law requires.
4. Your content and your privacy
What you write and say in the app - your conversations with the coach, your Game Plan, your workbook pages, your notes - is yours. You give us the right to store and process it to run the app for you (for example, so the coach remembers you). We do not sell it. How we collect, use and delete it is set out in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. You can ask us to delete your conversations and coaching memory at any time; your account and your place on the list can stay or go separately, as you choose.
5. Rooms: what is said there stays there
Mastermind and group rooms are built on trust. By taking a seat you agree not to record, screenshot, quote or repeat what another member shares in a room, in any medium, without that member's permission. The app keeps a record of meetings for the members of that room and for the coach's follow-up; that record is not shared outside the room. A member who breaks the seal may be removed from the room and the app without refund.
6. Text messages
If you opt in to texts, the SMS Terms apply. Opting in is never required to use the app.
7. Randal's teaching and the app
Randal Smalls' teaching, books, courses, workbooks, recordings, name, likeness and voice belong to Randal Smalls and are used in the app under license. The app's software, design and the name BetterLifeApp.ai belong to Manantia.AI, a division of Magnetherm Inc., Menifee, California and its licensors. Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them through the app. You may not copy, resell, scrape, reverse-engineer, or use the coach's answers or Randal's material to train another AI or build a competing product.
8. How you agree to behave
Use the app for yourself. Do not use it to harass, threaten or deceive anyone, to send spam, to break the law, or to get around a limit or a block. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share. We may remove content or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; if we close your account for cause, unused paid time is not refunded.
9. Availability
We work to keep the app up, but it is provided "as is" and "as available." Features change; some are in test and may be withdrawn. We are not responsible for outages caused by your device, your connection, or the third-party services the app runs on (hosting, video, messaging, payments).
10. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Manantia.AI, a division of Magnetherm Inc., Menifee, California, Randal Smalls, and everyone who works on the app are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profit, data or opportunity, arising from the app or from anything the coach says. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some states do not allow these limits, so some may not apply to you.
11. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If we have a disagreement, write to us first at info@manantia.ai and give us 30 days to work it out with you. Any claim that cannot be resolved that way will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and each of us agrees to their jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always at https://betterlifeapp.ai/terms with its date at the top. If a change materially affects a paid membership, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect; continuing to use the app after that date is your acceptance.
